Here are the terms and conditions for Mad About Pickle.

Cancellations

Where a participant wishes to cancel a place for social play or private court hire, at least 24 hours notice must be given. In the event that a participant cancels less than 24 hours before a booking, no refund will be given.

If the cancellation is outside of the 24 hour window, the participant will be refunded the full amount, less an admin fee. For social play, the admin fee is £1 per person in the booking. For private court hire, the admin fee is £5 per court in the booking.

In order to cancel a social play session or a private court hire, the participant must use the “Cancel Appointment” button on the booking confirmation email, or by logging into their account on the website and managing their booking.

If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before a booking, no refund will be given.

If a player wishes to amend the booking, a transfer to another session slot will be offered if the change is made outside of the 24 hour window. To do this the participant must contact us via info@madaboutpickle.com to rearrange.

Assumption of Risk

Playing pickleball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other losses. By participating in any activities at Mad About Pickle, you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk.

Waiver of Liability

Mad About Pickle, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of your participation in club activities. By participating, you agree to waive any and all claims against Mad About Pickle and its affiliates for any injury, damage, or loss sustained during your participation.

Health and Fitness

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in suitable physical condition to participate in pickleball activities. We strongly recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before engaging in any physical activities if you have any health concerns.

Code of Conduct

All members and participants are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or exclusion from further sessions.

Safety Rules

  • Always warm up before playing and cool down afterward.

  • Wear appropriate attire, including non-marking court shoes.

  • Use equipment that is in good condition and suitable for pickleball.

  • Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to club staff immediately.

  • Follow all posted rules and instructions from club staff.

Use of Facilities

Members and participants must follow all rules and regulations related to the use of Mad About Pickle’s facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, respecting court reservations, maintaining cleanliness, and properly using club equipment.

Personal Property

Mad About Pickle is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Please take care of your belongings and do not leave valuables unattended.

Insurance

We recommend that all participants have adequate personal health and accident insurance to cover any injuries or medical expenses that may arise from participation in club activities.

Modifications

Mad About Pickle reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members and participants through official club channels.

Acknowledgment

By participating in any activities at Mad About Pickle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from participating in any club activities.
